I stopped by unannounced because my tire had a nail in it and was leaking air profusely. Walked into their office and was greeted/+helped immediately. These guys were quick, professional and price for the tire patch was great too. Was told they even do oil chances here. Definitely will be bringing my business back. Highly recommended.

Professional tire service! I’ll share my experience with wheel balancing at Big Brand Tire & Service. Before lifting the car, they manually loosened the front upper suspension strut mounts slightly to avoid damaging the bushings. They also manually loosened the lug nuts on all four wheels slightly. Next, they jacked up the car strictly at the designated reinforced lifting points to avoid damaging anything underneath the vehicle. The lug nuts were removed using a pneumatic impact wrench at medium speed to prevent stripping the threads. Carefully removed the wheels from the hubs by gently tapping the edges of the tires. Inspected each tire for external defects and cleaned the tread of small stones. In a special basin, we washed brake pad dust and road dust off the wheels. Once the tires had cooled under the cold water, the technician adjusted the pressure of each tire to the same PSI, after first checking the exact pressure readings on the gauge in my driver’s door (in the door jamb). Before mounting the tire on the machine, the technician carefully removed the old wheel balance weights and thoroughly cleaned the adhesive residue left behind. He also wiped the inner surface of the rim with a dry cloth and degreased it with a special spray to avoid damaging the appearance of the aluminum rims. After balancing each wheel, the technician noticed that three of the four had nearly identical balance weights, while one required twice as many. The mechanic immediately suggested breaking the bead and rotating the tire 180 degrees, saying that this would truly be the best solution. And indeed, after this procedure, the wheel was balanced to the same specifications as the other three wheels. What does this tell us? It shows that the wheel balancing is being done by a true professional who loves his work! All four wheels are balanced and are being transported on a dolly to my car to avoid picking up dirt along the way. Before mounting the wheels on the car, the mechanic applies a thin layer of heat-resistant copper grease to the wheel mounting surface. The wheels are mounted on the car, with each nut tightened by hand to catch the thread pitch, and only then tightened with a pneumatic impact wrench. After the car is lowered, each nut is retightened once more with a special torque wrench to the required value. And since the wheels had already been washed, the mechanic suggested (for an extra fee) treating the tires with a protective foam that prevents cracking and protects against UV rays—of course I agreed, not because it’s some “shoe polish” meant to make them shine, but because they use a tire treatment that actually provides real protection (the formula contains: UV absorbers, silicone polymers, aliphatic hydrocarbons, and aerosol propellants). That’s it. I’m happy to go pay for the pros’ work! I hope Big Brand Tire & Service keeps up their high standards! There are very few professionals like this in California.

I wish I knew about this place months and months ago. I went to two other places to get my alignment done because I had a little bit of lift on my truck ended up losing money. I showed up here, Bob helped me out and the Alignment was perfect. They knew what to do with the lifted vehicle thank you, Bob and your team. And the guys who did my alignment 🙏🙏. Sorry, I did not catch your name properly, but you did a fantastic job. I highly recommend this place.
